Rathishaa Murale
Rathishaa was particularly struck by the quote "being neutral is the same as being on the side of the oppressor", and it was this, alongside the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020 which inspired her to create this thought-provoking piece of mixed media art. She channelled her own lived experiences of the lockdown in London into her artwork, but the ultimate creative process was driven by the spiralling negativity across a variety of issues that spread online during the lockdown.artwork
