MEET THE TEAM
This is our 2021/22Â team. We are spread across the 3 NLCS schools: London, Jeju and Dubai. Ranging between the ages of 13 and 18, our team's specialisms vary from politics and sustainable development to philosophy and science. However, we are all passionate global citizens and are invested in promoting tolerance and acceptance around the world.
NARGITA APTE AND SHIVANI DAVDA
Chief Editors
Nargita and Shivani are the Chief Editors for the NLCS London region. Shivani hopes to pursue Law in her future career and Nargita wishes to study Economics as a career. Shivani's interests lie in travelling and reading; whilst Nargita's lie in feminism and current affairs.
ALHENA ALIBHAI
Chief Editor
Alhena is the Chief Editor based in Dubai. Her interests include law, politics and public speaking, and she is taking HL English, Economics and History for the IBDP Programme. She began her focus on the Global magazine after joining the local school magazine Oasis.
VITA ROTTENBERG
Writer
Vita is a writer for the magazine. She lives in London, and has interests ranging from classical music to natural sciences.
RATHISHAA MURALE
Artist
Rathishaa is a London based artist for the magazine. She joined the team in 2020.
NISHKA NANANI
Editor and Writer
Nishka is a writer for the Global Magazine based in Dubai, this being her first year writing for the magazine. Her interests lie within the fields of film and television.
ISABELLE SEOW
Designer and Writer
Isabelle is a writer and designer for both the Global Magazine as well as the Oasis Magazine, the local school magazine. Her interests lie primarily in Art and Design but she also enjoys writing, reading and watching TV shows and movies in her free time. She has written for the Oasis since its creation and this is her first time writing for the Global Magazine.
SUHA KIDWAI
Editor and Designer
Suha is a contributor to the Global magazine, participating as both an editor and designer. Currently based in the UAE, her interests lie in literature and political science. She has contributed to Global magazine since its launch in NLCS Dubai during 2018.
SEUNGHEUN (SAM) LEE
Editor
Sam is both a writer and editor for the Global magazine. Born in South Korea and currently living in Dubai, he has always been interested in global politics. He hopes to pursue a career in journalism, which naturally led him to enjoy writing.
